Lines of EVANGELION

The exhibition title, Lines, centers on the fundamental element that shapes the world of the Evangelion series: the line itself. From the contours of the characters and the intricate structural detailing of the mecha to the series’ iconic typography — including its distinctive use of Mincho-style typefaces — the exhibition artistically reinterprets these visual elements, inviting visitors to rediscover the delicate details that construct Evangelion’s vast and immersive universe.

The exhibition will showcase more than 500 rare key animation drawings. These intricate works capture the dynamic intensity of mecha battles, the subtle shifts in the characters’ emotions, and the defining moments of confrontation with the Angels.
